FROM LIVERPOOL

Take the Old Tunnel (Queensway) to Birkenhead.

As soon as you come out of the tunnel (before arriving at toll booths) turn sharp left following sign for “Hamilton Square/Woodside/New Brighton”.

Pass through the single Toll Booth (you will need £1.30 in change - this booth is not manned).

At the traffic lights, turn right - signposted “Priory Industrial Estate” - you are on Ivy Street.

Pass straight over the crossroads into Alabama Way. The road curves down hill to right.

Ahead of you, to the left, you will see a modern office development - “Abbots Quay” (light sand coloured brick work).

We are No. 5 Abbots Quay in the far corner.

FROM M56/M53

Leave M53 at Junction No. 5.

Follow the A41 signposted “Bromborough/Birkenhead” - a main road with 4 lanes. After 4/5 miles the A41 becomes a dual carriageway (this is the New Ferry/Rock Ferry by-pass). This shortly becomes a 4-lane road again at a roundabout.

Stay on the main road following signs for Birkenhead/Liverpool Tunnel. You will pass F. Bather & Son Tyres and a Peugeot car dealership. Just before the next roundabout you will see a McDonald’s Restaurant.

At the next roundabout (“Royal Castle” pub is in the centre of the roundabout), take the middle lane and cross straight over. This will place you in the right hand lane when you exit the roundabout.

Take the second turning on the right after the roundabout - through an underpass signposted “Hamilton Square/Woodside Ferries/Docks/New Brighton” - staying in the right hand lane. NB. don’t miss this turning. Continuing straight on (on the A41) will take you through the Liverpool Tunnel.
